Twilight Forest is not a regular free Minecraft map: the creator tried to make it almost a complete addon. A lot of mobs have been replaced and the map itself gives a player unlimited freedom for future experiments.

You won't recognize bats in beautiful butterflies and you'll be really surprised when you see horned mushrooms. Bears were wolves in the original Minecraft and deers were horses. Multicolored wooden planks replace wood blocks but their functionality stayed the same though.
